I really enjoyed this book. It was really fast paced, had lots of action, and the main character was interesting. I didn't see the end twist coming, which is annoying, because I usually do! Can't fault this great book, would recommend it!
This is a good book about being stalked that keeps you interested, even though I figured out whom the stalker was before the end. Will definitely read more by Luis Samways.
Didn't finish the book. Honestly, I couldn't. It was so immaturely written I couldn't believe it. Two grown women....one a lawyer....."skipping" through a bar to get a drink? Really? These women acted like grade school kids. Bad editing too. Horrible. Hope this author improves, but I'll never know because I'll never buy another one of her books. Sorry I lost money on this one.
I am 55% through this book and can't bring myself to finish it. I REALLY wanted to like it and tried ignoring all the problems with it but I just can't anymore. The writing and characters are wildly inconsistent. The characters are supposed to be American and the story is supposed to take place in America but the language and dialogue is extremely British. If I wasn't familiar with British slang and terminology, I wouldn't understand half of this book. Every character exclaims almost all of their dialogue. In one section, the author says that Stephanie never spends her money and that her house is filled with mostly used furniture but a few pages later Stephanie interprets her dream of drowning as a metaphor for "drowning in debt." These inconsistencies make it feel like I'm reading multiple books. I have no connection to any of these characters and I'm sad to say this is the first book I'm ever not going to finish and I'm not even sad about that because the story is so disjointed I feel like I have nothing invested in it.
Worst book ever (if one can even call this a book). This a short story that doesn't make sense. It's very poorly written and reminded me of a story a junior high student could write when they left their writing assignment to the last minute. Annoying characters, mistakes throughout the plot, useless scenes that weren't related to the story, completely ridiculous throughout... I could go on and on...
Loved the book! Definitely had me on my toes throughout the book. Would recommend to anyone that is into suspense to read it.
